Travel and publication grant from the DGHNO-KHC Annual award
In order to help German scientists gain recognition abroad, the society awards grants to cover the costs of translating and/or printing scientific papers and for further training trips.

Travelling Grant Annual award
To enable colleagues from countries with limited financial resources to participate in the annual meetings, the German Society for Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery awards the Traveling Grant every year. The detailed award criteria are available on the congress website during the application phase from September 15 to October 31 of this year. Along with the application, the registration of a scientific contribution to the congress (e.g. lecture or poster) is obligatory.

(Christian Hempel scholarship of Fahl Medizintechnik GmbH) Annual award
The German Society for Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hals-Nasen-Ohren-Heilkunde, Kopf- und Hals-Chirurgie e. V. Bonn) offers 10 annual congress scholarships (Christian Hempel Scholarship from Fahl Medizintechnik GmbH) for participation in the society's annual meetings to promote young otorhinolaryngology students. The detailed award criteria are available on the congress website during the application phase from September 15 to October 31 of this year. Along with the application, the registration of a scientific contribution to the congress (e.g. lecture or poster) is obligatory.


ADANO publication grant (sponsored by MED-EL) Annual award
The Association of German-speaking Audiologists, Neurootologists and Otologists (ADANO) of the German Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (DGHNO-KHC) holds its annual conference once a year. On the occasion of the annual meeting, an ADANO publication grant is offered for the 10-12 best scientific papers, which are to be presented during the ADANO annual meeting and published afterwards.

Overview of the DGHNO-KHC's promotion of young scientists


DGHNO-KHC mentoring program for junior managers in ENT medicine

With this mentoring program, the DGHNO-KHC Executive Committee would like to support junior academic staff who aspire to a leading position in an ENT department or a university clinic by providing advice and information.

Important institutions are to be made known and procedures in academic operations, but also in research, research funding, teaching and patient care are to be communicated. The position and function of the German Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in this network will be presented.
