The Innovation Award of the Association of German-speaking Audiologists, Neurootologists and Otologists (ADANO) is sponsored by the company Happersberger Otopront GmbH (Hohenstein). It is awarded to researchers who have made an original contribution to the understanding of the pathogenesis, to the expansion of diagnostic possibilities or to the development of therapeutic procedures for diseases of the auditory and vestibular system. The prerequisite for applying for the prize is the publication of the relevant work in an international peer-reviewed journal. The work must have been accepted for publication.
Information on the prize:
The €2,000 prize is awarded annually.
The application deadline for the prize is 31 March each year.
Applications for the prize must be sent electronically to the secretary (tobias.rader@med.uni-muenchen.de).
The letter of application must be accompanied by the publication as a pdf file, a CV and a list of the applicant's previous publications as well as a declaration of consent to the application from the co-authors involved.
The award certificate will be presented to the award winner by the ADANO chairman at the next ADANO autumn conference as part of the scientific programme. The award winner will then present the prize-winning work in a lecture.
During the special ADANO session at the following annual meeting of the DGHNOKHC, the prize cheque will be presented to the prizewinner by a representative of the donor.
