This (open-access-published) article presents a standardized curricular training for LogaS that has been agreed upon by the participating specialist disciplines. This creates a qualification certificate that will help to formulate the medico-legal framework to safeguard delegating physicians and therapists.
AWMF guidelines
The AWMF guidelines of the Scientific Medical Societies are systematically developed aids for doctors to help them make decisions in specific situations. They are based on current scientific knowledge and proven procedures in practice and ensure greater safety in medicine, but should also take economic aspects into account. The "guidelines" are not legally binding for doctors; the medical assessment of the individual examination or treatment case is always decisive. Guidelines therefore have neither - in the case of deviations - liability-creating nor - in the case of compliance - liability-releasing effect.
The guidelines developed under the leadership of the DGHNO-KHC and other ENT-relevant guidelines can be found at this link
